The readings for this 3rd Sunday of Easter bring us great hope of life after death, also for our bodies. The readings also tell us that if we call ourselves believers, then we need to obey God’s commandments.
This is the Second Sunday of Easter, also called Divine Mercy Sunday. I’d like to spend time with you on the Gospel, and on the theme of the Feast of Divine Mercy.
Today is Easter Sunday, the Sunday of the Resurrection. We have prepared for this day with forty days of Lent, and we have experienced the liturgies of the Sacred Triduum.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
the Easter Triduum is the high point of the Christian year. The Lord's Passion and Death is followed by His glorious Resurrection.
On this 4th Sunday of Lent, as we proceed deeper into our faith, we get to know more and more who we are as Christians, and what we believe as Catholics.
On this Third Sunday of Lent, the Sacred Scripture gives us 10 Commandments, the Cross of Christ, and the cleansing of the Temple, after which our Lord Jesus shows that He knows what is in the human heart.
