As we observe the 25th Sunday of Ordinary Time, the Gospel places before us the parable of the workers of the vineyard, as they are hired by the landowner at various times of the day.
In the Gospel that we have just heard, Our Lord Jesus presents to us a teaching on forgiveness and mercy.
The Gospel of this, the 23rd Sunday of Ordinary Time, gives us some concrete examples of how to put into practice the commandment to love one another.
The Gospel of this, the 22nd Sunday of Ordinary Time, recounts to us the second part of Jesus’ encounter with His apostles at Caesarea Philippi.
The Gospel brings us the great profession of faith of Peter, and Our Lord’s commission to Peter to be the rock upon which the Church is built.
